GIKK Ortho Specialists

GIKK Ortho Specialists have seen very productive recent years during which we have integrated considerable technology, partners, and significant changes in patient care into our clinical orthopaedic practice. Of late, 5 orthopaedic physicians have joined GIKK to form GIKK Ortho Specialists. These physicians include Dr. Lonnie Mercier, Dr. Sam Phillips, Dr. Chuck Rosipal, Dr. Kathleen Grier and Dr. Kimberly Turman. We have expanded our services as well as continued to focus on subspecialty care.

Staci McKee has taken over the role as our Work Comp Coordinator for GIKK Ortho Specialists. Staci can be your contact for all work related items including appointments, necessary reports, and will function as your liaison with all of our GIKK physicians. GIKK Ortho Specialists is also pleased to announce the opening of our Ortho Urgent Care Center in our West Omaha Office on the Lakeside Campus. This allows injured workers with orthopaedic problems to walk in for immediate care from our orthopaedic team. Follow-up care will be provided by the appropriate subspecialist.

For many companies, there exists relationships with facilities and physicians that can manage a broad spectrum of work related problems. The goal of the Ortho Urgent Care and our office is to work with these physicians if they feel acute orthopaedic care would be beneficial to the injured worker. Our focus in the Urgent Care is for orthopaedic problems only.
