Dr. McCarthy applies his subspecialty training in upper extremity injuries to athletes.  This interest and training has prompted publications of multiple studies on shoulder, elbow and hand problems.

Whether a pitcher has shoulder impingement, a torn elbow ligament, or a "baseball" finger, Dr. McCarthy applies his fellowship and clinical skills during treatment and return to sports.

Dr. Gross is board certified in orthopedic surgery.  He specializes in the treatment of shoulder injuries of any type and disorders, including but not limited to: rotator cuff tear, impingement syndrome, arthritis, and fracture.  The shoulder has been a long time area of interest for Dr. Gross and has inspired much of his work.  His research of the shoulder is nationally recognized.
